Through the years, Sony’s PlayStation and Microsoft’s Xbox 360 consoles have been compared. A gamer who only prefers one of these platforms can’t have it all, because there are games that are exclusive for PlayStation or Xbox, but some gamers wish that there will be Gran Turismo 6 Xbox 360.
For now it is unknown if the game will be Gran Turismo PS3 or PS4, but as mentioned on our previous post, Polyphony Digital hinted that the Gran Turismo 6 will be possibly launched with Sony’s latest gaming technology, and PS4 is speculated to be out late this year or early next year. Polyphony Digital no longer gave out information when the exact time and date the game will be released, they also do not like to upset gamers in case it will be released later than promised. Gran Turismo developers are working around the clock hopefully to impress GT fans out there who have been impatiently waiting for Gran Turismo 6.
To give you a brief background about the game, Gran Turismo’s developer Polyphony Digital is a video developing company under Sony Computer Entertainment. The game’s publisher of course is Sony Computer Entertainment which makes sense why the previous series of the game are only developed for PlayStation 1, 2, 3 and PSP. Gran Turismo series has been modified, improved over and over and adjusted to its latest hardware platform.
Gran Turismo 6 on Xbox 360 is very unlikely knowing that the game’s publisher is Sony, just as Forza is exclusive for Xbox 360 and is published by Microsoft. Simple! Since PlayStation consoles lasts longer than Xbox 360, I would suggest to buy a PlayStation latest console or both PS and Xbox consoles.
Will it still be Gran Turismo PS3?
Despite the rumors that the Gran Turismo 6 will be launched with PlayStation 4, it is possible Gran Turismo 6 will still be launched for PS3 platform until the rumor is confirmed true. PlayStation 4 is speculated to be launched on the 4th quarter this year or Quarter 1 in 2014.
If both GT6 and PS4 will be launched in the same quarter, no doubt it will gain maximum impact. I’m sure racing gamers can’t wait for this to happen. Comparing Gran Turismo to the previous series, it just got better and better! Probably it’s the reason why Polyphony Digital is working really hard on GT6 and is really taking their time and are being careful not to release information that would displease the public later on especially if they promise something and don’t fulfill them like what happened to GT 5.
There are lots of interesting wishlist online for the GT6 a few of them are:
- More realistic change gears
- Tire blowouts
- Realistic Fuel Gauge
- Better collision physics
- Female avatars
- Ability to design the wheels
- Better Visual Damage
- Ability to choose which menu you want to see at startup
- Glass breaks
- Ability to buy insurance with multiple coverage plans to cover damage costs.
Well, they say all good things to those who wait. We hope it’s worth the wait.
