Gran Turismo 6 release date

Long time series fans are eagerly awaiting the latest entry of the most talked about video racing game since last decade, and to answer what everybody’s been asking for, Gran Turismo 6 release date is still unknown.

Polyphony Digital has not given out an update yet when the exact date of release will be. There has been speculation that Gran Turismo 6 will be launched with Sony’s next generation console, the Play Station 4, which is expected to be launched late 2013. GT6 series mastermind Kazunori Yamauchi’s hinted, “we’re always aiming for the latest technology and the latest expression”. That simply means the players won’t have to wait much longer anymore.

Gran Turismo 6 was developed way back in 2010 right after GT5 was released. Players are already excited for the Gran Turismo 6 edition and wonder what things are improved. But since the last version was released way back 2010, it seems like it took longer for the developers this time to make the 6th version. Yamauchi’s said, “GT5 was basically the creation of a whole new operating system, and developing GT6 will be like adding new applications that run on that new operating system.” Yamauchi admitted before that it took them 5 years to develop the first Gran Turismo. Hopefully this time it’ll take less than 5 years.

Let’s go back to the previous versions of the Gran Turismo series and compare the length of time each series were released.
